Fire! plus Splinched and also Telemetry

Q. What does a policeman do when he sees a woman with her hand and arm on fire running down the street, going crazy, panicking?

A. He shoots her! Because she's waving a firearm around!!

And guess what else! Carrie has both kinds of firearms now!! Haha! It's so great because she can use fire, or she can shoot fire at things, or she can fire her gun!!

It's great that she's got more power. It makes me wonder if I can do the same thing, if I can get better at teleporting.

I had a dream last night. I was me, another me, and I couldn't teleport. The Rose didn't tell me how. I tried to teleport away from the King's Tet but I didn't know how to take all of myself, and bits of me got left behind.

Thing is, I know it could happen, easy, if I try to go too far. I've never gone too far but...

I don't know how come I come out safer when I teleport a shorter distance. I'm going to ask the Genius to help me figure out how to make my range bigger.

I'm the only teleport I know. Maybe the King's got some way of finding us. Well maybe WE need some way of finding the rest of us first. I'm going to get Alister to figure out how to track me, maybe with some technology.

If it turns out to be hard to track, that's great! I can use teleporting all the time and so can the others out there. If it turns out to be easy though, man, I've been lucky so far. I haven't been careful at all.

But it's time to be careful. Gunslingers got to keep aware. For all I know, there's people in Mid-world or whatever level of the tower we go to next that can sense that sort of thing.

It's time to get better at what I do, like Carrie. And James. It's time to aim at the enemy, and fire.
